Jacqueline Wakeford
started tying flies for her father, a keen salmon fisherman,
when she was a young girl, and has been tying professionally
since 1965. She has taught flydressing in adult education
classes for many years. A founder member of the Fly Dressers'
Guild, and now a life vice president. As well as holding free
sessions at a local primary school, she has given numerous
demonstrations at fishing fairs and exhibitions.
Jackie has also written
two books and contributed to another which have been very
well received in the flydressing community. The two which
she herself wrote were 'Flytying Techniques' and 'Flytying
Tools And Materials.' you can find information about them

In co-operation with
Holbury Lakes Fishery, Jackie is now offering her flydressing
tuition and expertise to a wider audience.
