Jacqueline Wakeford started tying flies for her father, a keen salmon fisherman, when she was a young girl, and has been tying professionally since 1965. She has taught flydressing in adult education classes for many years. A founder member of the Fly Dressers' Guild, and now a life vice president. As well as holding free sessions at a local primary school, she has given numerous demonstrations at fishing fairs and exhibitions.

Jackie has also written two books and contributed to another which have been very well received in the flydressing community. The two which she herself wrote were 'Flytying Techniques' and 'Flytying Tools And Materials.' you can find information about them here.

In co-operation with Holbury Lakes Fishery, Jackie is now offering her flydressing tuition and expertise to a wider audience.
