Holbury
Lakes Trout Fishery is situated in a pleasant spot in
the Test Valley, containing four lakes over seven and a half
acres. They are well stocked with rainbow and blue trout,
plus some brown trout. Holbury Lakes caters for both corporate
(including private family parties and clubs and other groups)
and private fishing. Fly fishing instruction is available
on site by prior arrangement.
Jeremy
Wakeford runs the Test Valley School of Flyfishing, a
STANIC registered teacher with 35 years fly fishing experience
under his belt. The school is centred at Holbury Lakes Trout
Fishery.
BushBeat Angling primarily organises fly fishing related
activities for anyone who wouldn't normally have the opportunity
to enjoy fly fishing and flydressing in the Hampshire and
Wiltshire areas. They recently organised a Free
Day for groups in this area. BushBeat also provides tuition
services for anyone interested in angling. Corporate days
are also available.
